Hello all,
This conversation today is a great example of the retard who screw stuff up for people by plainly being stupid:
Shane Underwood is a stupid kid who has no life other than spending his life on AIM talking to people because he has no life. I have a few classes with hm and each day he threatens me and I laugh. He is a chubby loser who thinks he is tough, but isn"t. Everyone agrees and noone likes him. Recently he started sitting at our table at lunch-- don't get me wrong, I'm a "middle class" student. None of us wanted him there because he is an ass. However after telling him to leave many times, he persisted to sit at our table and eventually got the message and left.

He IMed me recently asking "How did you get sources for history day?"(see previous rant) In other words, he basically got mad at me because I insulted his intelligence by explaing to him "Do a google search dumbass!"
He has become mad and he is also one of those "I have twenty AIM screennames" people. I have blocked five of his screen names now, and he, of course, makes a new one.

Of course I blocked him, and yes If you were wondering, I did cause him out because he was harassing me every time I went on the internet.Oh and I bleeped it out so I wouldnt get in trouble with Blogspot, I wasn't sure if vulgarity is accepted.

Like I said, a perfect example of a kid who screws everything up for people who actually care.

History Day( for those who know)

Hello Again, and welcome back to my mind!

Well This Post is about the wondeous project California and other parts of the US like to call... History Day
For those of you who don't know it, it is a pain inducing, yet slightly fun project like science fair, where you have a Theme, find a topic that fits this theme, and the research the hell out of it until you make a board and turn it in with a grade pricetag of around 300 points! Yes it can be helpful to your grade, and also for your education, but in truth, you learn little, because you only research your own topic. Yes, you see others present, but in no way have you learned what they have from the twenty plus sources they had to get to pull ths project together.

At the school I go too( I wont say to keep from getting in trouble, though I really want people to know)--as with any other school almost anywhere-- there is always a couple teachers that are not always...um...how should I put this without sounding vulgar... ok well crazy. Back to the main point. Two of our classes combined to present their boards because you can work in pairs and you have the option to work with someone from the other class. Our school has become over populated, and the total amount of students was some where aroun 95-105 people. My "crazy" English teacher decides to have us take stupid notes that won't help us, on EVERY project. After the four or so days of notes, she of course, had us turn them in. This was totaly pointless because as I said in a previous thought, we could have learned more from not taking notes and just paying attention to what people are saying, but there is always one retard who has to ruin it for the hard working people and make everyone take notes. I wish there was some way of being able to seperate these kids. This is the situation for most classes, and probably at other schools too, but there is no way to fix it.

In conclusion, History day can be fun and teach you a lot of things you didn't know, but when you are forced into paying attention, you don't care anymore, and you will not remeber it a week from then as you are righting down notes quickly so that you can be graded. Moral of the story: you learn more, when you don't have too.

Hello Everyone and welcome, to my blog.
Well a few days ago Me and my friend were thinking about English class and how miserable they can make reading. Right Now we are reading Uncle Tom's Cabin and our english teacher, is beating the crap out of it and making us not enjoy the book because we have to write essays,impressin journals,tests,vocabulary, and so on. She wants us to actually get stuff from this novel, but truly we can't because we are studying for pointless tests and essays. i do undersatnd some of the stuff like vocanbulary because then you can understand what you are actually reading, and also dicussing chapters, but our impressions, totally useless. When you read something, you have impressions of stuff, but you don't need to write them down, its not like you don't know what you are thinking and have to write it down cause you can't think.

There is no way you can learn or enjoy yourself when the literature is beaten into your head, and then squeazed back out on paper to take a test. There are many fundamental things about learning English, but seriously, there is serious problems with people who decide to do this to kids. They excpect us to learn, but how can we if we can't focus on one thing.
